We have been alerted to a recent case of fraud involving individuals impersonating Alixco, offering fake loan approvals and requesting advance payments from members of the public.
These parties have falsely used our company name and logo in documents and initiated contact via WhatsApp, claiming to represent Alixco. Victims were asked to make payments before any verified account or proper application process was completed.
Important Clarification:
Alixco does use WhatsApp as a communication channel, but only under the following conditions:
- The recipient already has a verified user account on the official Alixco platform at www.alixco.com
- The communication is part of a legitimate, ongoing application or funding process
- Any fee-related requests or confirmations are always sent from an official @alixco.com email address, never solely via WhatsApp or personal contacts
What Alixco Will Never Do:
- Contact you out of the blue offering a loan if you have not signed up or verified yourself on the Alixco platform
- Send offer letters or request payments before your identity and application are validated through our secure system
- Ask for fees or transfers using anonymous bank accounts or third-party apps
How to Confirm a Legitimate Alixco Process:
- All financing and investment processes begin on our official platform : www.alixco.com
- Our team will only follow up via WhatsApp or phone after you’ve registered and verified your details
- All monetary transactions or fee-related communications are confirmed via our official @alixco.com email addresses
What to Do if You Are Contacted:
- If you receive messages claiming to be from Alixco but you haven’t registered, it is most likely a scam
- Do not make any payments or share personal/banking details
- Forward the message and any documents to support@alixco.com for verification
- Report the incident to your local authorities and the Securities Commission Malaysia via aduan@seccom.com.my
What We’re Doing About It:
Alixco plans to:
File a police report
Notify the Securities Commission Malaysia
Initiate internal investigations and reporte the fraudulent contact channels for takedown
We take these matters very seriously and are committed to protecting the public and maintaining trust in the Alixco platform.
If you’re ever in doubt: verify first.
