How does Alixco vet the SMEs that raise money on its platform?

Alixco's credit team performs due diligence on every issuer, including review of company documents, financial statements and bank statements, plus a CTOS credit check on each director. Funding decisions are typically made within 5 to 10 business days. Only issuers that pass due diligence are listed for investors.

How are investor funds protected on Alixco before a campaign closes?

Investor funds for P2P campaigns are held by Maybank Trustees Berhad in a trust account until the campaign target is reached and the issuer is approved for disbursement. If the target is not met, funds are returned to investors. P2P notes and ECF shares are not bank deposits and are not protected by Perbadanan Insurans Deposit Malaysia (PIDM).
